Brief and centered on historical events or realistic situations in the lives of historical characters, the News Stories introduce students to the personal costs incurred by both those who suffer from STD and their families, and to the roles STD and illness in general have played in human development and history.
In the Newsroom, the news director asks the students to select four stories and to choose a caption for the news anchor to read for each one. Each news clip lasts approximately 1-2 minutes.
